Opportunities for Adults

We offer many opportunities for adults to worship, connect and serve together.

Hearts on Fire...Hands at Work
Connected to Grow and Serve

As adults, we demonstrate our commitment to God and each other in many ways.
Click on the links below for more information about opportunities to connect, grow
and serve.
Small groups are available for adults in every phase of life.  Becoming a member of
a small group is a way to connect.

Second Hour is a Sunday morning learning experience that includes an opportunity
to "connect" with others.

Opportunities are available for
men to work, study and have fun together.

Women are actively involved in numerous social, small group studies and special
events.

Prayer is an important part of our worship and the Braveheart
Prayer Team actively
leads in praying for individual and corporate needs.

Advocates for Victims of Abuse (AVA) is an opportunity to raise awareness of this
problem in our society.

Micah Ministries is a program that provides meals to homeless individuals.

Wheels to Freedom is an ongoing project that involves the collection of used
wheelchairs.  The wheelchairs are delivered to Hope Haven, a non-profit organization
that refurbishes them and gives them to disabled people in third-world countries.  An
annual music fest, car wash & kids carnival highlights this project.

The annual Wheels to Freedom free car wash & carnival w
as held June 19 in the
Hobby Lobby parking lot at the corner of 291 and Langsford in Lee's Summit, MO.
We washed cars, served hot dogs, popcorn & drinks, provided inflatable games for
kids, played & sang music - all free to everyone who stopped by.  We also collected
more than
30 wheelchairs and walkers.  We collect wheelchairs all year long.  Call
the church office at 816-246-9337 for information on how to donate a wheelchair.
