Programs for Men

The goal of our men's programs, often referred to as the "Band of Brothers," is to provide
men with an opportunity to grow closer to God and each other.

Weekly studies from September through April are designed to deal with issues real men
face. Our current topic is
Winning at Work and Home, a continuation of the Men’s Fraternity
series by Robert Lewis.

One group meets at the church building from 8 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday nights. A second
group meets at 6:15 a.m. on Friday mornings at Honkerbeans Cafe, 1120 Douglas, Lee’s
Summit. These groups will take breaks shortly after Thanksgiving and will resume after
the first of the year. Check the calendar for dates.

We also build relationships by working together on various projects during the year.  For
example, we recently spent a Saturday working on two local Habitat for Humanity houses.

In addition, small groups for men meet in homes at various times during the week.
